You will always own the rights to your book. DiggyPOD is strictly a book printing manufacturer. Many companies will charge large fees for layout, marketing services, etc. and then offer the author royalties, or discounted book printing prices. We find this practice unethical, since you wrote you book, you should own the rights to your material. Be careful of these companies that promise book sales. Remember you will be the best salesperson for your book, especially since you have put your heart and soul into it.
Files can be sent three different ways. The first way method is to upload your files on the order form. The second method is to email the files to us, if they are not over 20MB, click here for this option. Font Embedding is when all the fonts are inside the document, if the fonts are not included in the document; your type could reflow and become distorted. Click here to see how to embed your fonts.
You can obtain an ISBN number from www.isbn.org. Make sure to get your own ISBN number so you are listed as the publisher, you don't want someone else having the rights to your book.
No, our base pricing includes black and white printing on the interior pages; if you want some color pages, please click here for a custom quote.
The price you get from our pricing calculator is the price you pay, less shipping and handling. Just make sure to prepare your files correctly to avoid any additional fees.
Yes, we can. We have three industry standard sizes to choose from. If the size of your book is less than 5.5 x 8.5, and no smaller than 4 x 6, your price will be the same as our standard 5.5 x 8.5 book price. If your book trim is bigger than 5.5 x 8.5, but under 6 x 9, you use our standard 6 x 9 price. If your book trim is bigger than 6 x 9, than you will use our 8.5 x 11 pricing. All of our prices are based on portrait printing. If you have a custom size other than what is explained here, please request a custom quote..
Not at this time we don't offer Hard Cover Books, only Perfect Bound (Paperback style) or Spiral Bound books. Hard Cover books tend to add about $10 to $20 per book, and we have not seen enough demand for this service yet. We might add this service once demand picks up.
We require a 100% payment upfront, before we start your book printing. We accept, MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover.

While we take great care and pride in printing your book, we are human and on very rare occasions, there can be a manufacturing defect or books can be damaged during the shipping process. If this happens, we will gladly replace the books for you. Of course, we can't be responsible for any typos, or grammatical errors that you may find after the book is printed. If you find any defects or shipping damages, you must report them within 30 days after you have received the books.
